2) How anyone cannot just be totally in love with Panda's I do not know! San Diego Zoo has a Pandacam where you can watch the pandas 24 hours a day, and I've been watching Bai Yun and her little cub play and grow and it could melt the coldest of hearts. And just take a look at this Youtube Video of a baby panda sneezing. ADORABLE! So here's the panda cuddly toys that my brother gave me for my birthday. Yeah yeah, I'm properly too old to still have teddies but who cares, they're soft and adorable! The other is a simple teddy that was given to my by my uncle. Unfortunately my uncle passed away this is the only thing I've got left of him, so in his honor.. meet Stephen.
3) Right, I am definitely not a big reader, as I keep repeating. Anyway, this is my collection of Little Black Dress Books that has built up over a couple of years. They're wonderful books, your typical girly novel about a man and a woman falling in love despite the odds. Very cliche and predictable but wonderfully written feel good reads. There's even a little x rated banter in there to add some spice ;)
4) Nothing exciting in any of these little baskets. This one's filled with all my ballet pumps and trainers.. dusty and untouched I assure you.
5) This is one of my prized possessions! One of the most fantastic women I know (a crazy Irish interior designer called Adrianne Purcell) painted this for me when I was born. As if you couldn't tell, its Bambi! What a beautiful watercolor it is, and if you ask me I think she's captured his character perfectly. It reminds me of my childhood.. and who doesn't want to be reminded of that? 6) Again, nothing exciting in here.. just socks and tights.
7) When I mentioned displays this is what I meant. A brandy glass filled with shells from a family holiday, and an old candle covered in wax.. lovely to look at but very cliche. In front of that are little presents from mother, which serve such sentimental value I dare not open them. Bobbi brown lipstick, found in my stocking on christmas day, and my pride and joy: Coco Chanel. A delight to the nose but definitely not the bank balance. Merci mamma
8) Ahh my Dvd's. As like my taste in music and clothes, there's a bit of everything. I recently bought 'The Osborns season one' and its hysterical! Ozzy is such a funny guy to watch. My favorite movies vary from Pride & Prejudice (I'm cursed to die alone because no one will live up to Mr Darcy), Top gun, the South Park movie... the list goes on. Oh and I've also very recently plucked up the courage to watch Saw: WHAT AN ENDING!!!
9) Just my Cardigan Uggs (worn to death) and a bag full of belts.. nothing to write home about.
10) Here are my hobby books.. like interior design and architecture because I'm nerdy like that! My favorite is Essential Architecture: The History of Western Architecture by Frank Gehry (right). "This is a handy, quick reference guide to Western architecture from prehistoric times up to the present". It's easy to use, and full of information about different architects and movements. I think it's incredable to see how architecture's grown over thousands of years and how we're still being inspired by designs and techniques from as far back as 10'000 BC. Alongside this book are a few on interior design, dressmaking, oh and there are a few 'Sims' disks down there too.11) Oh aren't they beautiful! Uggs that keep your feet warm AND match your hair color, what more could you ask for? And as an added treat, they only cost £77 (inc p&p), thats 46% off RRP. What a treat they are. Oh and another thing that was so perfect about them; they arrived on the 5th January.... the day of the snow! Perfect colour, perfect price, perfect timing!
12) Now this is just my bed-side shelf. There's bottles of water there because when I come back from a night out all I want is my bed and water. There's also some Beechams to keep away those nasty winter coughs, and my new look bag filled with money, Vaseline and headphones.
13) My Ministry of Sound vinyl bag (that I got free with my first ever MP3 player), and my makeup case (thank you santa 2009).
14) The unused disposable BBQ we bought and forgot for Wakestock 2009, and the classic example of a foolish 'fashion slave' mistake. Here are my first pair of Uggs: denim classic mini's. They're so old, but when the Ugg addiction hit the UK I was so desperate to hop on the band-wagon I bought these. Big mistake, lesson learnt. Just because the brand is fashionable, doesn't mean everything they design will suit you, or anyone!
15) Another not-so-interesting draw full of bags, including my Fred Perry school bag and a Lacoste one too. No, I was never a 'chav', they are just lovely bags!
16) And finally, my collection of Grazia's and More!'s. I find it impossible to throw away so they pile up here. This is my collection since the Christmas clear out.
So there you have it, more interesting than the contents of my fridge but just as insightful.
